Thank you for providing me the opportunity to continue to serve as your New York State Senator. I'm grateful for your trust and confidence. With that trust comes a duty to serve all of you and I will do my best to fulfill that duty each and every day.
It has been my privilege to fight for the issues that are important to you. I will continue to fight for tax relief, to increase State aid to make public schools all they can be, to protect our environment for the next generation by creating incentives for alternative fuels and preserving open space. I am confident that together we will reach our goals.
I thank all of my friends, supporters and staff for all the work they did in the course of this election. They made this victory possible.
